The prickly pear belongs to the Cactaceae family and grows in arid and semi-arid regions where protection from external elements is essential, consequently it has developed an optimal system for maintaining hydration that guarantees effective defense in difficult environmental conditions. A precious oil rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids is extracted from the seeds of prickly pear, which favor the compactness of the hair scales, giving brightness and volume. Sweet almond oil, also rich in unsaturated fatty acids, makes the hair soft and easy to comb.
