Ingredients: almonds 35%, extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper.
Serving suggestions: the ideal filling for stuffed pasta, meat rolls and in accompanying sauces, this pesto is the key-ingredient of the famous pasta alla trapanese, a typical dish of Sicilian culinary tradition recognised as such by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry. Simply add cherry tomatoes, basil and 1 or 2 cloves of garlic to the almond paste.
Storage instructions and shelf life: store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within one week.
